This is the Morphogenic Engine. A few lines of mathematics, an algorithm. Reprogram us, turn us into nightmare factories. A few numbers on a dry erase board. Give me a hacksaw and a few hours alone with Doctor Wernicke’s corpse. I feel I owe him a debt.

That feel when you try to playa video game and your cat decides this means you’re Her captive audience.
Ok.
You know. I have a couple fucked up delusions of godhood verses for post massive stuff. Or his other not really all there verses. Like, the man died. He probably shouldn’t be all there.
That might work for a fc5 verse too tbh.
Hi uh. So. I’ve been MIA, and here’s the thing: almost a month ago, part of my house burned down, and… that was a mess I almost got caught in. So I’ve barely been around on ruthlessmeans, but things are starting to settle, with exception to the fact I can’t focus v well and there’s a lot of fatigue bc I lost my thyroid stuff during all this. Not to the fire, we just haven’t been able to get a refill. That’s a little fucked.
On the other hand, I started far cry 5 last night so I guess we’re gonna make a verse or ten for that. The catch is do I do a verse with or without the walrider. Making him more vulnerable could be a fun thing. He feels v indestructible ( and often is, I guess ) with the walrider.
Hi, I'm Jason, formerly known as Judas. You can call me either or tbh, I don't mind. Any pronouns work, as well. I'm 21 && a full time college student effective August through May. There's not really any rules here because, the way I see it, I shouldn’t have to tell you not to godmod. This isn’t neopets, you feel me. But I have compiled all information about me and how I run the blog that I feel is important so I would appreciate it if you skimmed it. c:
—MAIN SHIP WITH JAMES PARK (Walking Horror Comedy)*
—Selective
—Non-exclusive (exceptions)
—Open to: everything
—Pre-established relationships (come talk to me!!!)
—Ships chemistry
—One night stands are cool tho ( Miles is prone to having sex freely, no strings attached. and a lot of flirting. I'm sorry in advanced for this asshole. )
—smut 18+ ONLY
—If it's part of their relationship, we can skip to the next scene.
—If you lie to me about this, you will be blocked.
—In the process of learning Spanish and Russian; my Russian isn't good enough to communicate in, but my Spanish is, if you want to make use of it ic or ooc.
WARNING: I DON’T TAG TRIGGERS.
Miles is from a horror game, and it’s full of all kinds of triggering topics. If you’ve played it, then you know what you’re getting into following me. If you can’t handle these things, then please don’t follow me because my blog is not going to be safe for you.
On top of the in-game content, as a direct result of the trauma he suffered in Mount Massive, Miles suffers from depression, PTSD, and anxiety. He frequently dissociates, depersonalizes, suffers flashbacks, and has panic attacks, and as a result of trying to cope, he is an alcoholic and drug addict.
ABOUT PASSWORDS: I will NOT send you a message to prove I’ve read your rules. I have read every single one of them. All of your pages, even. You’re more than welcome to politely point it out if i fudge one, but just because I get something wrong, doesn’t mean it’s proof I didn’t read them. I have over four hundred followers and I’m mutuals with a great many of them—I’m only human. I forget things.
But I value my integrity and if you can’t take me on my word, I have no interest in interacting with you.
*Main ship means that all memes will be answered from the main verse wherein he’s in a relationship with James, unless specified otherwise; it also means things with James are going to take priority. I’m totally open to other ships, and they’re all in an AU anyway, thank you.
Middle of the night, sitting in a hotel room that's a few stars above the roadside shit he's used to. Mostly, it's the good wifi that he sought, but better service and a bed that isn't dotted with peculiar stains is always a bonus. (And free breakfast!) The only sound was the keys clicking under calloused fingers, long adapted to the disfigurement of his hands. It's a summary to the upload- three video files, and a metric fuckton of text documents, all in one zip folder.
Most of its the footage from mount massive; one long video, containing every blurry hall and every moment of darkness with only the sound of his breathing indicating it was still rolling. The second, a shorter, condensed version where he cuts out the transitional parts, the interim that was hardly important. It had taken a great deal of strength and a lot of alcohol for him to rewatch the footage and cut out the unimportant parts, but now, he was surprised at the change. The way his thoughts had cleared, and his resolve had strengthened. He had even slept last night with a fraction less alcohol than usual- and woke up on his own. Sure, the nightmares had been there, there was no getting rid of them; but they were different.
This was right. It should have been done long ago. But now, he would fix that.
The third video was one recently recorded. In it, he was sat on a wooden stool in a nondescript room, one that looked like the sort barely-legal interrogations took place in. The room wasn’t the important part;
Miles Upshur survived Mount Massive, inexplicably and only because of project WALRIDER. Now, he has it, and he is on the run from Murkoff, putting all of his resources into surviving them, and shutting them down.
He struggles with an array of problems. PTSD, paranoia, insomnia. He hallucinates, and he’s not sure half of what he sees is real, but he’s trying. He only stays in one place as long as he has to, living with the absolute necessities out of his car. He spends half his time doing odd investigations, and a good deal of the rest of his time in restaurants and public spaces with wifi access, writing articles on them for extra money on the side.
Here, he’s dealing with the Walrider. While it has merged with him, he is having a hard time coming to grips with the notion that it is him and he is it.
